The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher status sassa range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company stage made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to help the servicing of all here buyers and enhance access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
